An Excessive Heat Warning is still in effect for all of southeast Iowa through tomorrow morning.This warning issued by the National Weather Service means hot and humid conditions will continue to be seen through today and possibly into the weekend.

The humidity combined with the temperatures in the upper 90s will make the heat index values between 105 and 112 during the day and they may not drop below 80 at night.

You should drink plenty of water and limit outdoor activities during the day.
