Daylight Saving Time ends today (10/31), and people in most parts of the country will set their clocks back an hour. They encourage people to check and replace batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms. They say it’s also a good time to make or update home disaster kits. Those should include water, food, flashlights and batteries.
