Much of southeast Iowa remains under a flood watch today as rain continues to fall. The National Weather Service says rainfall amounts have ranged from one to one and a half inches. They say up to two more inches could come by this afternoon. NWS says the additional precipitation is falling on saturated ground and is likely to cause rises in area streams and rivers.
