There will be a class on Fly Fishing knots at Marr Park in February. This class will be led by Steve Anderson, Director of the Washington County Conservation Board. There won’t be any actual fly fishing going on because the water will be frozen over, but Anderson will teach a group of seven people about the knots used for fly fishing. There is an age limit of 14 years old or older because of the dexterity required to tie these knots. The class will meet twice in February on the 9th and 16th. They are hoping to fill all seven of the available slots, and you can contact the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park to register. For more information on this Fly fishing class, and other events at Marr Park, listen to our In Touch Program today or online at kciiradio.com.
