An area school will once again participate in a program that provides free meals for children. Columbus Community School District will be participating this year in the Summer Food Service Program. They will be offering a free breakfast and lunch for those aged 1-18. The meals will be provided without charge and are the same for every child.

The meals will be served Monday through Thursday at Roundy Elementary School.  The program will start on May 29th and will run through August 9th.

Depending on its success, the program may only run through the end of June. Babysitters, practicing athletes, swimming pool visitors, as well as anyone else, regardless of residence in the Columbus School district, can take advantage of this program.
