Washington County Public Health has begun offering H1N1 vaccinations to the general public. Program Director Chrystal Woller says there are some potential side effects associated with the vaccine such as a runny nose or headache. However, she says the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh these symptoms. Woller says public health officials predict another wave of H1N1 to hit Iowa in late January and early February. The vaccine is being offered from 2-4 pm Wednesday and Friday this week at the old Washington Public Library (120 E. Main)
