The cities of Lone Tree and Winfield are joining in the Halloween fun with activities beginning today.

In Lone Tree tonight, the Wellness Center presents its Family Fright Night from 5-8. The “Walk with the Witches” starts at Julie’s Flowers, where each child will receive a witches hat. From there, they can trunk or treat down the block to the Historical Society, followed by the Wellness Center for games, snacks, and a craft. The town trick-or-treating will be held on Tuesday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m.

Tomorrow, the Winfield Presbyterian Church is holding a trunk or treat from 3:30-5 p.m. In addition to candy, guests can enjoy a meal of hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, and dessert for a free will donation.

The celebration continues on October 31 in Winfield with the Annual Weiner Roast from 5-6:30 p.m. The roast takes place at the corner of East Pine and South Locust, where a costume contest will also be hosted by the Winfield Lions Club. Trick-or-treating begins in Winfield at 6:30 on Halloween night, and continues until 8.
