An aide to Senator Tom Harkin will visit Louisa County to hear concerns and ideas on how to rebuild the middle class.  The event is part of a statewide summer tour by the Harkin staff to hear directly from Iowans on how the economy is impacting families across the state.

The tour, called “Rebuilding America’s Middle Class: Stories from Around Iowa,” comes to Louisa County Tuesday for the purpose of collecting ideas for rebuilding the middle class in America across all sectors.

Harkin’s aide, Jessica Border, will also participate in a roundtable discussion with the Louisa County Assistance Office personnel.  The event takes place at the Louisa County Extension Office Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00.
