The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued an excessive heat warning for the entire KCII listening area through Thursday, August 24th. Thursday could see heat index values reach 107. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
