Flu Levels on the Rise in Iowa

Iowa had seen low levels of influenza since the beginning of the flu season, but now, public health officials are seeing rising numbers in the state. Chrystal Woller from Washington County Public Health says a few cases of the flu have been reported in Washington County, but it’s not an illness that is required to be reported, so there are likely more cases than reported.

Iowa Has Its First Cases of Influenza

Flu season has officially started. The first cases of influenza have started to pop up in Iowa. The Iowa Influenza Surveillance Network says the level of influenza infections in Iowa is still very low, but there have been a few cases.
