An inmate assaulted another inmate in the Washington County Jail. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 3:23 p.m. Tuesday, the assault was reported to emergency communications. Washington County Sheriff’s personnel responded and charges are being filed on 39-year-old Brett Allen Wulf.

In March, he was arrested for theft in the second degree, burglary in the third degree, and operating a vehicle without owner’s consent. Those charges originated with a theft in February when a plasma cutter was stolen from a business in Washington.

Wulf was also charged with possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense. He has a court date for a jury trial in October.
