The 2014 Iowa Legislative Session is over. The House of Representatives and Senate adjourned the session late last week.

Before that, Representative for House District 78, Jarad Klein, was elected as one of the assistant majority leaders. In this new role, he’ll help with political campaigns in southeast Iowa. Klein says some of the key issues this fall will be tax cuts and the agriculture budget.

He adds now that the session is over, representatives can catch up with constituents to see what their concerns are so they can bring those back to Des Moines when the next session starts.
