Funeral mass for 63 year old John Bowers of Sigourney will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sigourney.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney, where there will be a wake service at 4:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for St. Mary Catholic Church and Keokuk County Hospice.  Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for John and his family.  Tributes may be made at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
