The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help on a case. The office is requesting the help of anyone who may have been traveling on Highway 218 on Sunday, January 17th between 12:40 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Four tires were stolen from a Chevrolet Lumina that had broken down and was on the side of the road near mile marker 86. When the owner of the car returned, all four tires were gone.

Anyone who may have witnessed this or has information regarding the theft is urged to call the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office at 319-356-6020, extension 8949.
