The Keokuk County Expo has a new representative as Fair Queen.  18 year-old Taylor Bair of Keswick has been crowned as the 2011 Keokuk County Expo Fair Queen.  Bair also took home the expo’s Miss Congeniality award.

She was chosen out of six candidates by the judges as the best to represent Keokuk County at this year’s State Fair.  Bair spent four years as a tri-county FFA chapter member, and served as her chapter’s FFA president senior year.

She says she plans to attend Iowa State University in the fall as an Animal Science major.  Bair will take part in the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest Tuesday, August 9th through Saturday, August 13th.
