The Keota Eagles are a young and hungry bunch, with only three seniors gone from a girls’ basketball team that went 7-15 overall last season and won six games in the South Iowa Cedar League.

Returners include junior guard Kimberly Clarahan, who is coming off a solid season where she averaged nearly nine points, five rebounds, two-and-a-half assists and 2.5 steals per game.

Junior Grace Conger is also back after putting up almost six points, two rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest, while junior Ava Greiner and sophomore Kennedy Jackson will be asked to play more featured parts for Keota, which will start the season November 17th and 18th with games against Highland and Lone Tree.
