Science and religion are teaming up. St. James Church in Washington is taking part in the Kids Against Hunger Program. It’s an organization that takes nutrient dense meal packets developed by food scientists, and sends them to starvation stricken parts of the world. The church’s Father Paul Appel says the packages look kind of like a casserole. He says volunteer groups raise funds and put them together. St. James hopes to send out 30-thousand food packages.
