A locally made product was featured at this year’s Iowa State Fair. Kalona Brewing Company had three of their beers on tap at the Iowa Craft Beer Tent. According to Vice President and Brewmaster, Lew Brewer, craft brewers in the state are invited to participate by those who run the tent. He says they had their light lager, an Indian Pale Ale, and an English style brown ale, featured along side 48 other craft beers made in Iowa. The Kalona Brewing Company is set to open on September 13th.
