A 16 year old Washington High School student has been cited for disorderly conduct, possession of tobacco by a minor and could face charges for possession of marijuana. Washington Police Chief Greg Goodman told KCII the student and another 17 year old male have been cited for disorderly conduct stemming from a fight that occurred at the high school Tuesday morning.  Police then confiscated a small baggie from the 16 year old student that contained tobacco-like substance and at least one cigarette.  Chief Goodman says marijuana charges are pending while the substance is tested for traces of the drug.  Washington High School Principal Erik Buchholz declined to comment on the case but says the district is looking into hiring a school policeman to have on staff to make incidents like this easier to handle.  Stay tuned to KCII for more details as they become official.
