The first phase of the Marr Park Education Center display upgrade is now ready.

The first shipment of displays were delivered, assembled, and are now ready to begin spreading knowledge. The displays are table top exhibits that can be swapped out for different lessons. Visitors can get an in-depth look at what goes on in ant colonies, learn about local fish, and play a prey versus predator game.

The Washington County Conservation Board received a $65,125 award from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation last fall for the displays. The public is welcome to take a look at the new displays during center hours. The Center is open Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8-4:30 p.m., and Sunday 1-5 p.m.
