The nearly 32 foot tall stalk commemorates Don Radda’s 1946 world record. His daughter Julie Zieser went up in a boom lift yesterday to place the re-bar tassel. Zieser says her husband Wayne is going to start working another replica to be placed at the Iowa State Fair next month.
