Longtime rivals collided in Henry County Tuesday evening as the Washington Demons took on the Mount Pleasant Panthers in a Southeast Conference showdown.

The Demons were able to win a game against the Panthers, but would ultimately fall in four sets (25-15, 23-25, 25-10, 25-18).  The victory extends the Panthers’ current win streak to three matches, and improves their overall record to 13-11. For Washington, the loss is their sixth in a row and drops the Demons’ overall record to 3-18. Washington will have the next 10 days off as they won’t be in action again until next Saturday when they host the Washington Volleyball tournament.
