press play to hear from Fox Engineering’s Scott Renaud

A likely path for a sewer line that will connect Washington’s Sunset Park collection point to the new wastewater plant has emerged. Ames based Fox Engineering is the consultant on the project. The company’s Scott Renaud says the pipe will swing out on the west side of town then cut south to the new plant. He says this gravity fed system is the cheapest, simplest option and eliminates the need for a pump station in the park. The new sewer line is expected to cost in excess of three million dollars. Fox Engineering anticipates that construction will start this fall. Bids for construction on the new wastewater plant are scheduled for November
