Those interested in showing off their talents in the Washington County Fair have an opening to do so.  Extension Youth Program Specialist Kati Pfeiffer says entries are needed for the Open Class Division of the fair including numerous classes of hobbies.  She says they will accept entries of art and photography, crafts, needlework and quilts, and woodworking, as well as flowers, plants, and dried arrangements.  The largest vegetable contest will be held again this year.

Entries can be brought to the old school house building on the fairgrounds Monday, July 18th from 9 a.m. to noon.  Pfeiffer says there is an entry fee of 50 cents per item, $5 for 11 to 20 items, and $7 for 21 to 30 items.  A complete listing of classes can be found at the Washington County Extension office.

The Washington County Fair is July 17 to July 22nd.
