The power is back on for customers in eastern Washington after an equipment failure. Electricity outages led the Washington Water Department to issue a statement asking customers to limit their water use this afternoon. The electricity problems had the department down to one working well, which meant they were putting out half the water they usually do. According to Alliant Energy spokesman Justin Foss a piece of equipment went down, causing the outages for 1,800 customers in eastern Washington. Foss adds that crews are still investigating the incident.
