Washington’s warm temperatures broke a record yesterday. According to the National Weather Service, the minimum temperature overnight was 47 degrees, setting the record high. Normally the overnight minimum temperature is 16 degrees for December 15th and the record low was -16 degrees in 1989. Also, the average temperature was 51.5 degrees setting the record high.

So far this month, the total precipitation has been less than a tenth of an inch at 0.09 with no snowfall. The lack of snowfall is about two-and-a-half inches below the norm. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
