With gasoline prices approaching record levels, the Washington Chamber of Commerce is sharing ideas on local activities.  Washington Chamber Director Tim Coffey says there are many activities that can be done locally that will not only help local businesses, but will help save costs.  He says they have a lot of brochures and information about local attractions.

Coffey adds there are many things people can do in a reasonably priced way.  He says shopping locally, going to the park for a picnic, biking and hiking along the Kewash Trail are ideas to have fun without spending a lot on gas.

To hear more about local activities that can be done to offset the higher price of gas, listen to today’s Washington Page during the morning and mid-day magazines.
