Sheriff’s sales were up last year in Washington County. According to Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy, Robyn Hoppman, there were 31 properties sold in 2012, compared with 24 in 2011. All 31 homes were foreclosed on by the lender and were then auctioned off to the highest bidder. Hoppman says last years sales were average compared with years past.
