The Sigourney girls basketball team finished the 2015-16 season with an overall mark of 14-10.

The Savages were 11-6 in conference play. After starting the year 0-3, Sigourney rebounded to win seven of their next nine games, including a 3-0 start after winter break during their best stretch of the season. The Savages also won four of their final five regular season games.

The Sigourney offense was third in the conference, averaging 51 points per game. The Savages led the South Iowa Cedar League with 284 assists. Defensively, Sigourney was second in the conference with 401 steals. The Savages were fifth in the conference with 730 total rebounds.

Individually, Sigourney was led by Sierra Davis and her 19 points per game which were best on the team and in the conference. Autumn Barthelman led Sigourney with 94 assists, third best in the SICL. Her 107 steals were the best on the team and in the league. Anna Ohland led Sigourney with 159 rebounds, ninth best in conference play. The Savages were eliminated in the regional semifinals by eventual state champion Springville 57-27.
