Today people all across the Country are learning the benefits of being a quitter. The American Cancer Society is holding its 37th Great American Smokeout, a day where smokers are encouraged to use today to either quit smoking or make a plan to quit.

According to the Tobacco Atlas published by the American Cancer Society and World Lung Foundation an estimated 1 billion people worldwide will die this century due to tobacco use.
