Daylight Saving Time officially began at 2 a.m. this morning. Every year, Daylight Saving Time begins the second Sunday of March and ends the first Sunday in November. Saturday’s sunset was at 6:13 p.m. and Sunday’s is an hour later, coinciding with the time change. It is also recommended that you change the batteries in smoke detectors twice each year, an easy way to remember is to do it coinciding with the time changes of Daylight Saving Time.
