Tomorrow letter carriers will be collecting donations for the largest one day food drive in the nation. It’s the 20th annual Stamp Out Hunger drive conducted by the National Association of Letter Carriers. Letter Carriers will be collecting non-perishable donations along their routes for delivery to the Church of God food bank.

Letter Carrier Andy Miller is the one who has spearheaded the event for the past four years here in Washington, having been involved with the drive before in other towns he’s worked.  He advises those who would like to participate to make sure you have your donation in the mailbox or near your mailbox before your mail is delivered.

To help local letter carriers, National Honor Society students from Washington will be helping by going around town and picking up donations.
