The Washington High School girls’ golf team defended their state championship and won the Class 4A championship trophy Wednesday in Des Moines. In addition to the team winning two years in a row, sophomore Sarah Nacos was also able to defend her individual state title. Nacos was the medalist, nine strokes better than the rest of the field.
