High School students in Washington have another chance to learn about a future career through an internship opportunity.  Kirkwood Community College Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator Nanci Young says close to 1300 high school students in the Grant Wood Education Agency Area 10 signed up last year for various internships.

The top ten career choices range from athletic trainer and radiology technician to teachers and engineers.  Young says this is part of an opportunity to apply for Workplace Learning Connection’s internships.

Internship applications are due Friday, April 6th.  For more information, contact the high school Guidance Office.
