Today starts Teacher Appreciation Week, a special week set aside to honor teachers for the effort they put forth teaching every day.  April Cuddeback with Stewart Boosters says they have been doing something special for the past three years.  She says in the past they have given the teachers breakfast, provided a lunch each year and goodie bags.

Cuddeback adds that last year the Boosters gave the Teacher’s Lounge a makeover.  She says they painted the room, gave the teachers new supplies and hung curtains.

Cuddeback says this year they will be doing something special each day this week that will have a tropical theme.  She says they have received support from Dr. Jorgensen and other Administrative staff for showing appreciation to the teachers.

Cuddeback says it’s always nice to have the students and parents also show appreciation to the teachers.
