The United States Postal Service (USPS) has laid out their recommended ship-by dates for packages and letters to arrive by Christmas.

For military mail, the deadline for First Class Mail Service and Priority Mail Service is Saturday, December 9. Priority Mail Express Military Service must be received by your local post office by Friday, December 15.

Depending on the number of days selected for shipping, December 16-20 are the deadlines for domestic USPS Retail Ground Advantage Service and First Class Mail Service. Priority Mail Service packages are due at the post office by Wednesday, December 20 for three-day shipping, and Thursday, December 21 for two-day shipping. Last-minute Priority Mail Express Service will be accepted through Saturday, December 23, or Sunday, December 24 if the holiday premium is paid.
