A group encouraging residents to look at social issues during the upcoming election season brought its sponsored bus tour to Washington.  The “Values Bus” and its crew visited the square Tuesday afternoon in an effort to educate residents about how social issues should be an important factor in voting.

The group touring the state includes representatives from the Faith Family Freedom Fund and the National Organization for Marriage.

The bus toured Des Moines and Oskaloosa before coming to Washington, and then made stops in Muscatine, Davenport, and Coralville.
