A truck that was stolen Monday evening from Riverside was recovered this morning and is being processed for evidence, reports Sheriff Jerry Dunbar. Also, multiple instances of vandalism over Monday night were reported. Dunbar says, “We believe that the northern part of the county, the instances that happened Monday night, they seem to all be related.”

Reported yesterday, were three car break-ins in Riverside, a car break in with a broken passenger side window in Wellman, a car break in with a broken passenger side window in Washington and John’s Shamrock Barbecue was broken into and damaged in Ainsworth. The same night, a car belonging to Pleasantview Home in Kalona was driven into JW’s Foods; the driver is unknown at this time.

Dunbar adds that there are no suspects at this time. The incidents remain under investigation.
