The Kalona Chamber’s annual summer celebration is a week away. Activities planned for Kalona Days next Saturday include a fun run, parade and live music, as well as a Brinton Film presentation led by historian Michael Zahs.

Residents and local businesses interested in helping out have a couple of options. According to chamber president Collette Yoder, they can always use more volunteers and monetary donations are welcome. She adds donations help them keep the kids activities free, giving families a chance to enjoy themselves without spending a lot of money.

Call the chamber for more information.
