It’s homecoming week at the WACO Community School District.

The school district’s homecoming week began on Friday, September 16th, when classes worked on their floats. Other activities during the week include hallway decoration. Dress-up day themes include Adam Sandler or mismatched dress up day Monday, tiny tots or twin/triplet day Tuesday, white out day or black out day Wednesday, teacher appreciation dress up day Thursday and school spirit day Friday. Voting for the homecoming king and queen will be Wednesday; the homecoming court includes Ellah Kissell, Jocelyn Fulton, Grace Coble, Katie Leichty, Mason Miller, Odee Shtefanchuk, Drew Diers, and Simeon Reichenbach. The voting announcement will take place on WACO’s Boom Night, which starts at 7:00 p.m on Wednesday. Aside from voting, there will be a pep rally, Boom Boom volleyball, and Powder Puff football at Boom Night.

There will be a parade at Bomber Field that Friday evening, with the line-up beginning at 4:30pm and the parade beginning at 5:00pm.

The Waco Warriors will take on the New London Tigers at Roth Field, with the game beginning at 7:00 p.m.

There will be a dance following the game, with doors opening at 9:30p.m and closing at midnight. Admission is $5, and pizza and drinks will be provided.
