The Washington non-profit group that raises money for other local non-profits is starting another fundraising campaign. Community Chest Board Members Susan Wellington says they are selling feathers at a couple local grocery stores.  Both Fareway and Hy-Vee have the feathers for sale at check-out.

Wellington says that other fundraisers like their annual dinner support the majority of their funding, but this idea is important in several ways.  It adds to the dollars they have available, and it serves to boost awareness of the group.
