The Washington Soil and Water Conservation District and the Dean Gerot Family are co-sponsoring the district’s annual scholarship. The scholarships will be presented to Iowa high school seniors to be used for their first year of college while studying any field of agriculture or natural resources. The student chosen by the Washington Soil & Water District will be awarded a 1 thousand dollar scholarship. Seniors can get an application form by contacting their high school guidance office or the district at 319-653-6654. Applications must be returned by March 3.
