The Wayland Lions held a blood drive on Thursday in honor of World Blood Donor Day. According to Chriss Heyd with Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center they surpassed their goal of 32 units. Stan Meyer and the Wayland Lions were able to collect 47 units of blood that will be disbursed among area hospitals including Henry County Health Center.
