Pancake and Sausage Supper

Title: Pancake and Sausage Supper
Description: The Columbus Chapter of FFA will host its 3rd annual pancake and sausage supper December 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Columbus High School Student Center. The price is $6 per person for an all-you-can-eat meal. Bring two canned food items for a dollar off. Kids under 5 eat free. Call 319-728-2233 ext. 3621 for more information.

Description: Hamakua Place will host Rachel’s Challenge, a program about the story of the first person killed at the Columbine High School shooting. The story is presented all across the nation by Rachel’s parents. The event is December 6th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Description: Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona will present a holiday support group on December 3rd at 4:00 pm. No reservations are needed and everyone is welcome. Anyone who has lost someone or will be away from a loved one over the holidays is encouraged to attend.

Christmas Celebration

Description: On December 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th there will be a Stars and Stripes Christmas Celebration at the Conger House Museum in Washington. They will have Christmas trees throughout the house, and there will be drinks and cookies. Tickets are 4 dollars, 2 for kids under 12.

Tour of Homes

St. Joseph’s Church, Wellman is sponsoring a Christmas Tour of Homes on Sunday, December 11th, 4:00 to 7:30 pm. Photos of homes, addresses and a page of the special features of each home, can be viewed at clusterparishes.org. Tickets can be purchased at each home and cost 6 dollars. Kids are free.

Christmas Program

The Washington Mennonite Church will present a Christmas program of skits and music December 1st, 2nd,and 3rd at 7pm. There will be homemade desserts at intermission. Tickets are $20.

Holiday Trade Show

Fairfield will have a Holiday Trade Show on Saturday December 10th from 10 to 4pm at the MUM Campus Fieldhouse. There will be over 60 vendors selling a variety of gifts for a variety of budgets. This is the largest Holiday Trade Show Fairfield has ever hosted.
