Horse Show

Description: The Horse & Pony 4-H Club is holding their annual Open Fun Horse Show Saturday, June 13th at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The show is open to any youth 18 years or younger. Ag Safety

Title: Ag Safety
Description: Washington County Extension is holding a progressive agriculture safety day from 9am to 3pm Thursday, June 4th at the Washington County Fairgrounds. All youth who have completed Kindergarten through 3rd grade are encouraged to attend. Parents are also welcome to attend. Sun, water, electrical, bike, ATV, PTO and equipment safety will be covered. Call 653-4811 for more information. Registrations and fees are due by Monday, June 1st. Registration forms are available at the extension office.

Volleyball

Description: Mid-Prairie volleyball camps for girls entering 1st through 12th grades are being held Tuesday, August 4th through Friday, August 7th. Grades will meet at varying times. All camps are being held at Mid-Prairie High School. All camp registrations and tuition fees are due by Tuesday, June 30th. For more information, call Coach Miller at 430-7227.

Description: The 7th Annual Volunteer Downtown Clean-up is being held from 8 to 10am Saturday, May 16th in Washington. Bring gloves as well as a broom, shovel or rake. Trash bags will be provided. Meet at the bandstand at 8.

Description: The 21st Annual Johnson County Farm Bureau Ag Festival is being held from 9:30am to noon Saturday, May 16th at the Johnson County 4-H fairgrounds. There will be food samples and recipes from commodity groups and local businesses, as well as children\’s activities and petting farm. The event is free and open to the public.
