Description: The Washington County Historical Society will be holding a site tours Friday and Saturday of Washington County Historical Sites from noon to 4pm both days. Some sites include the Red Brick School, Walnut School, the Strabala Big Barn, Brighton Book Bindery, Rubio Train Station, West Chester School, Kalona Historical Village and much more. Since moving to Ashland, Oregon, Daniel has recorded two albums “ Cello Man Dreams” and “The Irrational Quest For Beauty.” Both Fairfield performances will feature his newly created “Musical Portraits” composed for individuals, some familiar standards and opera arias, and the poetry of Rumi, Neruda, Mary Oliver and others.

Description: Iowa Mennonite School will offer a free softball clinic to all interested girls in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, on Saturday, September 18. The clinic will run from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on the softball complex at the school. Participants will learn hitting technique, base running, and proper fielding technique. Description: The South East Iowa Singles, a non denomination group of singles (ages 20 and up) have several upcoming events coming up. On Saturday 18th and 25th at 5pm the “ALIVE AT FIVE” worship service is in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, 201 N Court Fairfield. Following the 18th worship at 6pm the group invites people to come eat out at the Pizza Ranch in Fairfield.
