Food Drive

Description: The 23rd Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is being held Saturday, May 9th in Washington. Letter carriers will pick up non-perishable foods placed next to mailboxes when delivering mail. Donations will go to the local food bank.

Description: The a cappella men\\’s group Six Appeal will perform at 7:30pm Tuesday, May 5th at the Washington Community Theater. The award winning vocal band will perform oldies, current hits and original tunes. This is the Washington Concert Association\\’s last concert of the season. Moonlight Ride

Friday is Family Heritage Day, Saturday is Ridiculous Day and Tribute Night. Sunday is Living The Dream Day. Tribute Night is being held at the Washington Municipal Airport.

Description: The Community Foundation of Johnson County\’s annual Tee Off for Charity/Team Up for Philanthropy golf outing is being held Monday, May 18th at Brown Deer Golf Course. Registration begins at 11am, with the shotgun start set for 12:30pm. The fifth annual \”Charity Ball Drop\” begins at 6pm. To purchase tickets for the raffle event, call 319-337-0483.
