South East Iowa Singles Meetings

The South East Iowa Singles, a non denomination group of singles (ages 20 and up) have several upcoming events coming up. On Saturday 18th and 25th at 5pm the “ALIVE AT FIVE” worship service is in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, 201 N Court Fairfield. Following the 18th worship at 6pm the group invites people to come eat out at the Pizza Ranch in Fairfield. Then they will be having a Public Dance from 7:30 – 11pm at the EAGLES on Highway 1 in Fairfield. Music will be Scottie. Everyone is welcome.

First Baptist Church Youth Childrens Ministry

First Baptist Church in Washington will be starting their Youth and
Children’s Ministry for the Fall. Jr. High and Sr High youth will start
meeting on Wednesday September 15th at 7:00 Pm. The Jyf Group will start
on Wednesday September 22nd. at 7:00 Pm. If you have any questions

United Church of Faith Sunday School Starting Soon

Overcomers in Christ

Marion Avenue Baptist Church Senior Citizen Program

Marion Avenue Baptist Church is hosting a senior citizen program. This month’s program features guest speaker, Curt Mayer, principal of the Washington Junior High School. The activity begins at 10 am Thursday, September 2 in the basement of the church. Everyone 55 years and older is invited to come. St. James Fall Festival

The St. James Fall Festival is Sunday, September 12th at the KC Hall in Washington. Dinner is from 11am to 1pm. The event is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 6 through 12. Pick up and take out is available. The Auction begins at noon. Youth games are from 11:30 to 2:30pm.

Immanuel Lutheran Church French Toast Breakfast

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington is holding their final French Toast Breakfast Saturday morning at the church from 7 to 10:30. A garage sale and bake sale will take place as well. All proceeds will benefit Child Voice International and are being supplemented by Thrivent Financial.

Ainsworth Lions Club

The Calvarymen to Perform at Local Churches

Asbury United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School

Asbury United Methodist Church in Wellman invites all children ages 3 through starting 6th grade to become space cadets at our summer space voyage Vacation Bible School: GALACTIC BLAST: A COSMIC ADVENTURE PRAISING GOD on July 26th through July 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each evening. ‘Car-Mandments Bible School’
