For today’s program,  the second half of our series focused on the pipeline a subsidiary of Texas corporation Energy Transfer Partners plans to build that would bring oil from North Dakota to Illinois. The pipeline’s proposed route cuts through Iowa, including portions of Iowa House District 78. In part two, we’re joined by Jarad Klein, State Representative for House District 78, to go over the potential benefits and the way the company plans to aquire land for the pipeline.

For today’s program, we begin a two part series focused on the pipeline a subsidiary of Texas corporation Energy Transfer Partners plans to build that would bring oil from North Dakota to Illinois. The pipeline’s proposed route cuts through Iowa and many counties in the southeast region. In part one, we’re joined by an individual who opposes the construction of the pipeline, former Democratic state representative Ed Fallon. Tomorrow, we’ll talk to current representative for Iowa House District 78, Republican Jarad Klein, about the benefits of the pipeline.
