For today’s program, we’re joined by Denny Rehder, an author, musician and Iowa historian, who will be at the Oakland Mills Nature Center this weekend to present his program, Grass Between the Rails: A Musical Tribute to Iowa’s Railroad Heritage. Rehder first presented his Humanities Iowa program in 1996. Sunday’s performance will be his 99th.

The event is being held in memory of Jem Bender and Wanda Cain who recently lost their battle with breast cancer. All the proceeds will go to the breast cancer organizations Richland Pink Party and Especially for You.
