Law Enforcement Releases Location of Kalona Business Owner’s Vehicle

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, the car of 45 year old Sharon Ruth Hopf of Crawfordsville was found at an abandoned home located just outside of Wright City, Missouri, about 30 miles west of St. Louis, Missouri.

Superintendent Has Thoughts on Governor’s Education Proposals

Lower Deer Harvest Numbers

There were less deer for hunters this deer hunting season. Wes Gould, the Game Warden for Keokuk and Washington County, says hunters have reported seeing less deer than previous seasons. He says there are a number of reasons for the lower numbers.
